2018 Slavianski Bazaar wraps up in Vitebsk

The 2018 Slavianski Bazaar festival has wrapped up with a concert of heartwarming and most beloved songs, BelTA informs.

The closing concert was held in the Summer Amphitheater on the night of 16 July.

The program featured a ceremony to award the winners of the 27th international song competition Vitebsk 2018. The Grand Prix and the Golden Lyre went to Romania's Marcel Rosca.

The audience warmly welcomed Robertino Loretti, Pesnyary, Alexander Solodukha, Aleksei Khlestov, Inna Afanasyeva, Tamara Gverdtsiteli, Alexander Malinin and others.

Alexander Morozov was happy to meet with the Vitebsk music fans once again. "The most important thing for a composer is to know that his songs are loved and sung by people," the artist said.

Vika Tsiganova performed one of her main hits Come to My House. "A lot has changed in the recent years, but the Slavianski Bazaar and its committed audience remain changeless," the singer said.

Alongside with the hits of the previous years, the concert included popular songs of the new-generation artists: Max Barskih, THE PARAKIT, Artem Pivovarov, Tayanna, Olga Polyakova, Drozdy Band, Marina Devyatova, and also the Kuban Cossack Choir.
